Prior to being elected to the US Senate in 2018, Senator Rosen served as a Member of Congress representing Nevada’s Third Congressional District, which encompasses southern Nevada, including the suburbs of Las Vegas. In the House of Representatives, she served on the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, and on the Armed Services Committee.
